Via Piel means "through the skin" in Spanish. We believe that sometimes it is more beneficial to use the dermis to deliver micro-nutrients and medicine to the body, bypassing the filtration done by our livers and digestive systems.

OUR STORY
My name is Dr. Omer Katzenelson, and I am a Haifa-born chemist with a passion for health and holistic wellness. 

 

When my wife started suffering from tendonitis in her fingers a few years ago, I decided to test my knowledge and skills and see if I could help her. I went into my home-based lab, also known as our laundry room, and formulated a turmeric-infused cream. We applied the cream that night, and to our joy and relief, her pain was completely gone by morning! I knew I had something special in my hands, literally. 

 

After gifting this cream to some friends and family who were also dealing with pain and inflammation, despite getting incredible testimonials, they suggested that I put my project aside because the cream was staining their skin, clothing, & linens. With the start of COVID-19, I had time to regroup and think about how to repackage the incredible ingredient that made my cream so effective. I decided to deliver the magic in a non-staining patch, and that is how Via Piel was born!
